We are looking for a geologist

The Norwegian National Rail Administration have signed a NOK 8.7 billion (€1 billion) contract with a consortium formed by ACCIONA, a global infrastructure and renewable energy group, and Ghella, an Italian construction company with important experience in underground work, to design and build the 20 km twin-tunnel – “Follobanen”, currently the largest infrastructure project in Norway.

Acciona Ghella Joint Venture (AGJV) have joined forces for the last 15 years, most recently in Australia, building the award-winning Legacy Way tunnel in Brisbane, awards for environment and international daily, weekly and monthly speed records for TBMs.

Now, AGJV are bringing their extensive tunneling experience to Norway. The twin-tunnel project is at the present AGJV`s largest EPC contract, and the second in a number of four contracts for the Follo Line Project. The twin-tunnel is designed for high-speed trains of up to 250km/hour and will be the longest railway tunnel in Scandinavia when completed in 2021.

AGJV will create the tunnel that will link the cities of Oslo and Ski, aiming to form the core part of the InterCity development southwards from the Norwegian capital. Construction of the twin-tunnel will, for the first time in Norway, involve the simultaneous deployment of four tunnel-drilling machines, two machines drilling north towards Oslo and two drilling south, towards Ski.

This is a very exciting and important project, which we hope you would like to be a part of?
AGJV has an international environment with high competence and highly motivated employees.
Join us on a journey into the future, a new and groundbreaking project in Norway.
