We are looking for the successor of the present job holder who will retire in 2011. To further develop the business in the Scandinavian Area the Gas and Process division of Compressor Technique has an opportunity for a Sales Manager to sell and market GAP Centrifugal Compressors and Turbo- Expanders. This position will report to Gas & Process VP Application Engineering and Sales EMEA.

 

Job description

 

•Further develop the market and ensure future growth and business

•Sell of Centrifugal Compressors and Expanders to GAP markets

•Planning and organizing of all sales functions

•Develop and maintain relationship with customers and key accounts

•Continuously manage and develop the territory for new customers and new applications

•Develop effective sales strategies inline with the goals and targets

•Evaluate incoming inquiries and prepare budget quotes with support of Application Engineering department

•Technical and commercial negotiation for projects with the support of the product company

•Control expenses while maximizing the sales effort

•Participate at trade shows as required LNG, PowerGen, Achema etc.

 

Requirements

 

•A proven track record in Sales and/or Marketing of sophisticated equipment

•Good understanding of Chem/Petrochem and Air Separation markets, and Gas Compressor applications

•Experience and knowledge of turbomachines advantage

•You will be working in an international environment in close connection with customers, sales colleagues in other countries, GAP application centres and other people in the organization

•University Degree (BS) in Engineering or equivalent through experience

•The candidate shall be fluently in English language

•Knowledge of other languages (Norwegian, Swedish) is of advantage

•Must be result oriented, self motivated, and proactive. Team spirit and good communication skills are essential

•You are living in the Oslo area

•Before starting your sales activities in Scandinavia, you will get a training in our Cologne application center in Germany to become familiar with our products to a necessary level.
