Mapei AS is one of the largest suppliers of products for the construction industry. Founded in 1937 in Milan, Mapei Group today is the world's largest producer of adhesives and chemicals for the construction industry. The company is constantly growing, and investing substantially in R & D, manufacturing facilities and personnel. 5% of revenue is used for research and product development - aimed at ecologically sustainable products and systems that do not contain solvents and pollutants. 

Mapei has 18 research centers, one of which is at Mapei in Nord-Odal.The turnover for Mapei Nordic in 2015 was approximately 743 million NOK, and the number of employees is 240. 

Mapei AS is a part of the Italian Mapei Group, a leading international company with a total turnover of approximately 2.5 billion Euros and a total of 8.500 employees. The Mapei Group now counts 70 production facilities in operation in more than 30 countries on all continents.

We seek a PRODUCT MANAGER - CONCRETE INDUSTRY NORDIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be responsible for our products for additives for concrete. The annual turnover for these products in the Nordic Region is EUR 30 million.
  • You will work closely with our marketing and R&D departments.
  • You will lead projects both in our laboratories and in the field.
  • You will be responsible for the product development process and improve the effectiveness of existing products.
  • You will build relations with approval agencies, authorities and the market.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You are a college or university graduate with a degree or master’s degree in the field of building and construction, or you are a Doctor of Engineering.
  • You have relevant experience.
  • You are effective, flexible, accurate and responsible.
  • You must be fluent in at least one Scandinavian language, and fluent in spoken and written English.
  • You must be able to hold presentations, with written texts and in plenary meetings.
  • You will work independently as a part of our Nordic Region team.
