NCC Purchasing Group AB (NPG) organization is characterized by a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Strong growth, personal accountability, high tempo, and a serious and respectful organization with a nice working environment are other features that describe NPG. Our employees come from diverse backgrounds, both educational and cultural/national, which also affect NPGs culture. Our purchasing organization in Asia have been in place since 2006 and is buying today in everything from the façade materials, stone materials, lifts, escalators, installation materials, etc.

The Office consists of 8 employees, including purchasers, Nordic Coordinator and staff.

The role of us

We are looking for an experienced and driven leader who wants to take up the challenge to further develop the purchase operations in Asia in accordance with the objectives set for NCCs international purchases. You will be responsible for our operations in Asia. You will be stationed in Shanghai, where our Office is located in the city Centre. You will report directly to NPGs president and will be a member of NPGs management board. There will be trips to Scandinavia on a quarterly basis.

Your experiences

You are a well-documented leader, and it is a merit if you have experience from leadership in the international environment. You should have experience of international purchasing. It is an advantage if you have previously been in contact with the Chinese and Nordic business culture and a merit if you have previously worked in similar business, like construction or installation.

Your properties

We believe that it is important that you have a focus on commercial activities and on activities that will maximize business success. It also means that you must have good knowledge of construction industry and ability to focus on business and quality checks that are critical in order to have successful deliveries.

You should have good communicative skills and cross-cultural awareness that allows you to understand the issues from various cultures and countries perspective, as well as have the ability to create good relationships with people from other cultures.

High integrity and the ability to build trust among customers and employees are other important characteristics, as well as the overall approach, loyalty and ability to understand how NPGs business impact to the final result.
